Mike nice Photo's dude! I have to ask you though, it looks like you are running 5+ rods in those pictures. Is that cool? I mean, you know...legal?

Jimbo,I was on the same trip.We were fishing past the Glenora ferry towards the main lake. This area is technically considered lake Ontario where you are allowed to fish 2 rods each.

Good luck on your trip.

Ron

Ron,

Those fish do look nice don't they. Glad you could make it down for the trip.

As Ron stated. East of the ferry is consider lake Ontario which allows for 2 lines per person (ref page 32 of the 2003 regs).

Quote:
Lake Ontario
Division 8

A person who is angling from a boat may use two (2) lines in the open waters of
Lake Ontario except for the Bay of Quinte (the waters lying west of the Glenora Ferry
including the Murray Canal, Presqu?ile Bay, Wellers Bay), East Lake,
West Lake, Frenchman Bay, Hamilton Harbour and all tributaries of Lake Ontario.
Sturgeon closed all year.

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks for the reply Ron/Mike. Very informative and much appreciated.
Looks like you had an amazing trip, I'm jealous. Tight lines.

Those are just fantastic photos of your trip. You guys are to be commended on such great results. Best part of all is how many of these fish are being released to grow even larger for the next trip. I believe the slot limits are going to make the fishery even better over time. The walleye are starting to make a comeback out in front our Nuclear Plants out this way as well. Look forward to some great fall fishing.
