Quinte Fishing

Man was it SLOW. We only got 4 fish, 2 small eaters, a decent one but stil an eater and my PB 9.4. We trolled up at huffs. SHermans, Thompsons, Keiths and the Bat cave and everywhere in between. Tried jigging at thompson's with the crowd got the two small eaters and a bunch of silver bass, marked lots of fish but i think they were mostly the bass. I tried just about ever lure in my box, Manns Rapalas taildancers live targets, reef runners and even a bunch of other shallow runners with loads of snap weight. I was hoping coming up for 4 days we would hit one where they were biting but at least we had fun(3 of us). I've also never seen the weather so nice, no wind or waves, maybe that was the problem, we didn't have to suffer at all..lol. Was there a tourney there last week??? Man there were a lot of boats at Thompson's, more than i see at opener almost. Well that's it, maybe I can convince the wife i need ONE more fall trip!!! I will try to post a pic of the "BIG" one.
