Quinte Fishing

Arrived at Picton Harbour Inn on friday at 6am!! got on the water shortly after that.. the winds were crazy!! 30 km/hr with eventually gusts up to 70 km/hr.. rain started shortly after that.. and we got skunked.. sat tried to jig for some walleye and didn't succeed so then we tried the planers again.. tried in front of the cement plant, out in the Adopholous and tried every freaking plug I had on board.. the water was flat almost but we couldn't manage a single hit!! I dunno if the weather that moved in shut down the fish or what to really think.. this was only my second time going to Bay of Quinte.. and I shall return again next fall to try again! And hopefully stay for a few days instead of the 2 that I keep having to do.. First trip there 2 yrs ago I got 2 fish so I was at least expecting to get one.. oh well bummer.. next yr hope to get some more!! Even thinking of using G2 next yr to learn more.

Well one thing is for sure, you can't catch them if you aren't there. You gave it a shot and that happens to everyone. Sometimes the fish just don't cooperate. I'll be on the water sunday evening and all day monday and tuesday before returning home for thankgiving. If anyone is out give me a shout.
