Hey y'all,

I'm itchin' ta git out, and me dad is away for the week. Tomorrow looks like the primo day for weather for the week. If you check out the forecast, you can see that there are SW winds 15-25 kph expected for the next coupla days.

Better still, they are forecasting showers to begin on Tuesday, followed by a cold front.

If you know anything about Quinte fishing, then you'll know that mild weather and SW winds are superb, and the approach of the cold front even better - when the barometer plummets, the fish jump into the boat.

Anyway, we've got this nice comfy 17 foot Tracker, and I'll be leaving Oakville around mid-day. After the requisite stop at Mr. Burger in Oshawa [close to the fishing shops, and highly recommended by Dr. Piton!] I'll be hitting the boat ramp in Picton around mid-afternoon. If I can get there earlier, I will.

Any takers?? I'll be fishing the afternoon and into the evening, staying out til 8-ish unless they're hitting well, in which case, well, just tell the wife you'll see her in the morning...... [Note: The avid fisherman will have dispensed with the wife, and job, altogether, and will not be concerned with such trivialities]

If the fishing is good, I'll stick around til Tuesday and fish Tuesday night, otherwise I'll bail Monday night.

Bring your own fishing gear, plenty of warm clothes, coffee thermos. If anyone has a Motorola, I'm on Channel 2, sub 10. Never for a moment would I hint, imply or otherwise suggest a beer or two.

Please email me asap if you're interested!

Woo-hoo!

It's that time again!

Cheers,

Pete

P.S. "Hotties" welcome....
