I have know for years that internet reports can effect the fishing on any body of water and after a few reports you will see an increase in fishing pressure. In all my years fishing this is the first time I ever seen a plane come in and land right next to the pile of boats fishing Thompson's and taxi into position, kill the motor and then pull out jigging sticks.
I wonder if they read QuinteFishing.com

All I kept thinking was this guy has the whole lake to land in and he lands beside us :? Then he pulls up right beside us jumps out and starts jigging, man was I jealous. What I wouldn't give to cut down on my travel time.

The bite really picked up when we fired up the engine to take off

Great shot Sheldon!!

We saw him pull the rod out, and the first thing we said...with the gas for that plane, those are
A few expensive walleye filets for dinner.

Cheers, Hodgey...

Yep, that's me on the floats jigging. Ron was on the other side. Problem we had was we were drifting too quick.
Next time we will have a drift-sock.
It was amazing to see how many boats were there from up above. Was pretty cool.

Thanks for sharing the picture Sheldon. Definitely one to put in my album.
Cheers,

Gil

Million dollar question is: "Did you catch anything"?

Cheers, Hodgey...
