Just wondering if any one is seeing many diver ducks on the BOQ?

I have seen the odd flock fly by the Picton area. I believe the ones that went by today were goldeneyes. There were only about 35 in the flock. There are more in the shallower areas, but I haven't been in the shallower water since early last week. Last week, I viewed scaup, ringnecks, mallards, blacks, goldeneyes and buffleheads.

Good luck!

Jeff

I have also heard of some red head sightings, but haven't witnessed it myself yet this year.

There are tons of divers in the area. More then I have seen in years. There are huge flocks of bluebills, and buffleheads, with lots of other divers mixed in, but litterally thousands of bluebills and buffleheads.

Hi Whitetail,
I was out last weekend and that is my last time for this year. We were able to bag 6 but the numbers are really down. There seem to be lots of Mallards still around unfortunately we have the diver decoys out and the mallards would only come in to 80 yards befroe they spooked off.
Good luck.
Sheldon
