Good Trolling and Poor Jigging was the order of the weekend. The jig bite has been really slow for us and our clients, we have managed to hit abut 10 to 20 fish jigging each day, but certainly nothing to brag about. As a result, we have been concentrating on trolling with boards for most of our fish...We hit walleye pretty good on Sat/Sun, with at total of 26 Walleye: 1 3lber and all the rest from 8lbs to 12lbs. (Most of the Eyes’ being over 10lbs). On Sat, we ran an assortment of Reef Runners; however every single walleye hit on the Eriedescent, not a single hit on any other bait...go figure. Completely different on Sunday, not a single fish on the Eriedescent (WHAT!!), that's what I said...Blue and silver was the hot colour.

The great thing about the weekend, every single one of our clients (Dale & Dave, Lee & Brent) hit their Personal Best walleye....now that was exciting.

The best area for us was clearly the Picton Bay....with first light being extremely hot. Tons of bait and hooks everywhere!

A nice honorable mention to Corey (Letsgofishin) & John, who fished along side us for the weekend and also did very well. These 2 guys have an extreme passion for walleye and it showed with their success...Good job guys.

Not many days left, get out while you can.

Enjoy the pics...More at www.G2Angling.com

Cheers, G2Angling...

I must say, it's always a pleasure to meet a person who shares the same passion for fishing. Your are a genuine guy with a wealth of knowledge, and your words are to kind.
PS. Your net may be bigger, but mine spends more time in the water.LOL.
See you on the water!
