Tried out my new Offshore Inline Planers today while fishing Adolphus Reach east of the Ferry. Pretty straight forward, however, seemed to be having a problem with the boards sinking in back, causing them to track with the front partially out of the water. Is that normal? Wondering if my Stretch 20's were overpowering them somewhat? Had let out about 100 - 125 ft. of line prior to clipping on the releases. Found that it got worse if I used the Pro configuration as per instructions. Anyone have similar experience? Appreciate the help. Tight lines to all.

Actuall that is the way they are supposed to track......and yes any lure that has more drag will pull them down further. Remember when they stop tracking or falling back......you know you are into one. You might want to check your depth's also......we get a lot of fish 30-50 feet back......check out "precision trolling". Lets you know where your lures are running!!
