Well after the day we had last week it was really hard to hang up the rods with the water still accessible. Yesterday BigMac and i headed out to picton, we got a bit of a late start on the day but managed to boat a 9 and a half pounder for our efforts. This fish had a lamprey stuck to its side and was in rough shape. I'm sure it swiped at the hook just so it could get some help and get that thing off it's side!

Went out one more time today with Scott W from West Lake Willows and the boys from Bay Marine. We went 3 for 3. Boating 2 at 11.5 and one at 8.5 We marked a ton of fish but it seemed like this cold front moving in may have shut them down who knows. :?: :?: :?:

this will def be the end of soft water for me. My boats tucked away and the portable hut is cleaned up and waiting for the ICE. By far I experienced some of the most phenomenal fishing this fall I've ever had and seen so many PB's fall at the hands of Monster quinte eye's. There's surely no doubt we're very lucky to have the best walleye fishery around in our own back yard!

tight lines! and bring on the hardwater :!: :!: :!:

A nice way to finish the season, great job. Always hate this time of year before hard water shows up, the cabin fever is killing me

NO, what would be nice is if "someone" could get his old shift back and find his way to the water a little more often
