Quinte Fishing

Where and what time of the season is the best time to go for crappies and jumbo perch in the quinte area?

Both the Belleville harbour and Picton harbour under the docks when the water is cold(later Oct) usually produces. A few of the crappie guys I know say the best action is at night

ive been fishing crappie for the past month or so its picking up ive been fishing miers peir as well as abunch of others it hasent been to bad just before the sun sets seems to be the best between 6.30-7.30 but im sure its better other places

Has anyone caught any crappie recently and are they decent size? Thinking of coming up this Sunday from Toronto. Last thing, is it better in Belleville or Picton? Thanks for any info.
