On behalf of the Quinte Anglers who gathered at Merland Park, I would like to be the first to say on-line:

THANK YOU - JENNIFER & KEVIN

Your efforts are truly appreciated not only by those who stayed at Merland but by those who joined the mid-afternoon chin-wag / Fish Fry & Chili Cookout.

Everyone was having a great time and getting know those strangers from the Quinte Board.

Here are the Pix Jennifer took with my camera. Hope not every ones head got cut off

Nice pics of the group.

Attempted to join the get together too late. Next year we will be there.

Cheers,

Mike

Looked like a great turn out. I had every intention of stopping by, unfortunately, I was fishless since Thursday evening and wasn't gonna leave the bay until I caught a fish. Ended up catching a couple by 7 pm on Saturday. I was really looking forward to it too! Hopefully next year, the fish will be more cooperative for me before the get together occurs.

I too, missed seeing you all. By all accounts looked everyone enjoyed themselves. Great bunch of guys (and gals?) on this board. Gonna try and get in on the event next year. It was a tough call, postponing our 3 hr. drive down due to weather conditions, sounds like we made the right decision though, with the strong easterlies, we'd been bobbing like a cork in my 14 footer. We're praying for a break so we can get out this coming weekend. I'll be in the tan, green and yellow Discovery with a 20 merc on the back. Drop by and say hi if you see us. Fish on!
