Hi guys, have been lurking for a while now and must say you guys have a great board both in terms of ice safety and tips on where and how to fish the elusive eyes. Have been fishing on the BOQ 3 or 4 times this year and have had a few eyes, have fished Dez, Hay, Huffs. Tomorow, myself son and son and law and friend will be headed up there again as the weather looks to be favourable. My thoughts are to pick up bait in Dez and head over the bridge and try Big Bay (never been there before), I think park at the marina and head out from there, seems to be some nice breaks there that should hold fish. Son and Son in law are from the Fergus area so they have been anticipating this for months, so I hope to put them on some fish. My friend and I are from the Gananoque area and fish both the River and Charleston Lake in the summer. Gladly advise any one on conditions on the river and Charleston if PM'd.

Will post some pics tomorrow, hopefully with fish.

Keep up the good work on the board

Welcome to the board. It is a great resource for info of all kinds. Have met some great friends too and sold some stuff also! Look forward to your posts. Fishing at Sherman's today was a bust. No shad seen through the ice. I guess they have moved on. 15" of hard black ice. Good luck bayboy

Well we made it to Big Bay today and here are 2 of the 4 eyes we caught, 2 were smaller, also a few jumbo perch. Had a good time on the ice today
