A buddy and I went fishing Monday Feb. 08/10 between Deseronto and the Bridge, very few fishermen out, 7 counting us to be exact. No fish not even a hit, Vex showed nothing. I'm not looking for everyone's honey hole, just looking for any answers as to why no fish or fishermen in the area, this is not our first time out fishing nor our first year. This is the worst year we have seen in 24 years where there are no fishermen. Thanks tryhard.

there are no fisherman b/c the ice has sucked there. how much ice were you on where you were fishing? 3-4inches?

We thought about fishing there on Sunday, the 7th. Heard there was a solid 4". There were quite a few people out. We decided 4" wasn't enough for us. We ended up on Big Island walking out from Wagars Farm. Crossed the large pressure crack and got out 1000 yards or so, where some permanent shelters were. There was an estimated 16" of ice where we were. Caught no walleyes only a few small perch. Still good to get out for my one and only trip on the BOQ hard water this season. FYI- Moon's in Deseronto no longer sells licenses. We learned the hard way. Showed up in the morning to buy bait and licenses and he told us he didn't sell them anymore. Cost us valuable time in the morning by not calling ahead.
