Thanks for the tips Walleye Wizard, I us ethe same spoons, never thought to hook the minnow that way. Going to get a flasher soon, which one do you recommend? I know they are all good, just want one that is easy to use and reliable.
I fish Scugog very similar, sometimes the ice looks like swiss cheese. :)

Hey Teppy,

QP and I use the lowrance x67c ice machine, I like the flasher mode but QP loves the finder mode. Jason uses a Vexlar and loves it. The new hummingbird's are nice and I have heard good things regarding them. Really they all work. It's just a matter of what your looking for. Digital depth display, Different zoom level etc.
