Well just a quick 5 day report....actually 3 1/2 since Monday we were blown off the water.....and Sunday we did not start till 1pm...thanks to a late night!! lol Sat - hit 21 fish, Sun- 5 fish, Tues - 5 fish, Wed - 10 fish....all in all not bad. We would have nailed them Sunday but did not have enough time in the day......our fish were still there. Monday the front came in and wiped our fish out. Finally found a small school on Tues aft noon and salvaged the day. went looking for them again on Wed....to no avail. Salvaged the day at the ferry since it was fairly absent of boats......we gen don't fish very deep but tried a long flat line withoug planers and banged 4 myself....which was fun for a change!!! So.....we were going to head to Niagara for 3 days for muskie.....but weather has dampened that idea.....so off to Moira lake for 2 days of monster trolling and then back to the Quinte for a day.....prob just stay at Tip of Bay for sat night. Oh and all fish on the 20.

Hey there Ol' Princecraft. Great to meet you at Merlands and thanks for the BOQ fishing tips, although none of them worked for me LOL. Let us know how you do on Moira, used to fish that river as a kid, lots of good memories like the time a saw a monster musky nail a mallard duck!
What a commotion. I was 12 years old and it scared the crap outta me.
Also saw a few sturgeon in that river too...
Take care out there.

Jimbo - they may not have worked for you this year, but keep them in your head for next year.

OldPrincecraft2 is the other guy in the boat, not sure if you met him up at Merlands or not...

Moira lake wasn't great...no fish, but then again we didn't get alot of time in on the water - the weather was pretty horrible. We woke-up sunday morning to the cowling, cables, and throttle completely covered in ice from the shift in wind direction overnight.

Hopefully be back up at Quite for another round December 13th/14th, or over the x-mas holidays if it doesn't freeze.

Take care.
