Quinte Fishing

Just wondering if anybody knows of any fish being caught off the pier in Belleville? Thanks in advance!

I'm thinking of going there tomorrow night.
Has anyone been around there today? Is it thin ice or soft water?

There is still soft water on the south end of the pier by the building, but if you don't take some preventive measures on icing of rod guides, and line, then don't waste your time. I was there tonite, and after 2-3 casts, the thing just froze up...so, until the ice comes...I'll have to just dream about fishing for now.
The ice along the edge and shore are pretty thick, I try to throw a rock to dislodge my bud's lure, and it just bounced and slid off.
I guess there is always something new to learn about fishing in cold weather...LOL
