sorry for the late report my cumputer was out for up grading.was out of picton last weekend and had the best trip ever.fished on saterday for 5hrs and got 7 fish all in the 8 to 12lb range .funny thing was all the fish was hooked when we tryed to turn the boat alround and go back towards the harbour right at the boat ramp just out side of picton towards the ferry.we flat lined all day because the wind was abit much. put our lines back alround the 100 to 125ft range running bomber long a baits didnt matter what coluor .heres a look at the wind we had to deal with on saterday.sunday we had to look a little harder to find them but still managed 4 more before heading home at noon.

Holy smokes!! Your were braving some big water out there. Glad to see your efforts were rewarded. Tight lines......

Hey High Hopes, as Weedman says, you were in some choppy water by the looks of things eh? You mentioned you caught all while turning the boat. That is pretty much a walleye trademark. Been fishing them for at least 25 years. Can honestly say probably 1/3 to 1/2 were caught "on the turn"........ It sure seems they really react to the bait slowing down....Good report!...
