I found this on another board in Kingston dated March 18th and thought everyone on the Quinte Boardwould want to know about this.
"I have what may be important information for some on the site.
My friend and a sponsor, Clarence Taylor who most in the fishing community know as "Oakview Reel Repair", has passed away day before yesterday.
His son David has asked me to inform those who have reels in for repair to please come and pick them up as soon as possible.
His number is 613-542-3031.
There will be a short service Thurs. 1pm at Gordon Tompkins Funeral Home on Colborne St. if anyone is interested in attending.
I hope you will post this on the site as there are probably a couple people who have their reels in for repair and probably won't know this has happened. "
He will be missed - he was a good guy who did good work on reels.
