Its that time of year again, just wondered,if anyone was interested,in starting up the pollution of the Bay Of Quinte again, every time I mention anything about the polluters of the bay,it comes to a stand still,It still is being polluted, but never talked about,or anything done about it,if you don,t want to talk about this issue, voice your opinions...Thanks...ROCKET!!!We really don,t have too much time left!!!Its been over 50 years now,how long do you think these beautiful fish of ours ,can take it??? :o

Witnessed it first hand Rocket. Look behind the old Bakelite plant and it's all but evident. The guy that owns it now says hes trying to clean it up...... Another question I have always had, are the fines cheaper then getting rid of this pollution legally?

Bakealite is coming along ,pretty good, but thats not the main problem,Jim has done his time,he was just trying to get things going a little faster than the dam permits would let him,but he,s following the rules and everything looks good there,it,s the others that are not,and I won,t get into that, until the proper pepole are in place????

I think it's a shame that he has had to clean it up in the first place, the city or enviroment of Canada should have cleaned it up before it became his problem. I know as a kid we use to cut through that back field to get to the water or ice and that place was littered with barrels (who knows what was in them), also take a underwater cam out to the point and take a look around down there, you can tell some major dumping was going on there at one time. Glad to see someone gives a care about our kids future Rocket!
