I guess we have the same technique . Wonder why? I have filleted some large ones but I really prefer eating the smaller ones. Nice and crispy.

Mike,

Have you found any yellow grub parasites in the cats this year?

Two years ago the first 10 I cleaned were loaded, and I mean loaded with them. Needless to say the remainder of the 5 gallon pail was released. It looked as though they were coated in parmesan cheese. I know they are safe to eat when cooked, but no thanks.

8O I have been cleaning them with a fork for over 50yrs. It is a very fast way to do it. Can clean one as fast as a trout. Longleggs has watched me. Hard to explain how on the net. stop by green pt. sometime and I can show you how8)
