hey all was just wondering if anyone has any decent places to fish for big eyes,were going to be in the quinte in the next couple of weeks,myself or my friends are not too familiar on what spots might be good for the big eyes this time of year,was kinda hoping you guys could share some locations or spots that might produce some personal best records for us.jigging or trolling whats better this time of year? any info is greatly appreciated.

Would you prefer GPS coordinates? :lol:


For big ones best place is Picton and up Adolphous.... Then you need to do some legwork to find them. Good Luck!!!

I prefer trolling because its easier to cover alot of ground. Drift jigging works pretty well to. Big walleye can be found all over the bay during open weekend but like someone said majority are in the Picton/Lake Ontario area. GL Hockeyfreak if you need any more tips or lures send me a pm, more then happy to help out another Hockeyfreak anytime, who you cheering for in the playoffs?

I was breed a Hab and rehabilated to the PENS many years ago...... Danny if they didnt blow that 4-1 lead the other night I would say they had a chance but they got a long road ahead of them now, hope they start Price tonite!!!!

Well I was breed a leaf fan and since I cant remember the last time I was able to sit in my buddys garage drinking beer watching the leafs in the playoffs I'll take anything, except Sens, :P thats a canadian team.

"Hockey Freak" hope you realize that the season on the "big" walleye is closed until the first Saturday in May..... Go Sen's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Only because my grandson is a fan :))

im a huge leafs fan,but since were not in the playoffs my # 2 team is the pittsburgh penguins,thanks for the info as well :)
