It was a good day today. Landed 9 good size fish between 8 and 12.5 lbs trolling with downrigger 25 feet down mostly with a deep diving rogue. I fished just east of the Glenora ferry. The launch at the ferry was frozen this morning, I had to drive down to the little town next to the ferry and launch there.

Oh my Gosh - You were able to get out and fish. (Green with envy)

I can't figure out which little town you launched from? East or west of the ferry and which side?

The die-hards survive.

It was such a nice day Superdad how could I not go fishing. The town I think was called Adulfus??? something. It was just east of the ferry no more then 2 KM. It was my first time in that area so Im not very familliar with all the names and such. I usually fish Thompson's Point and Sherman. I will definitely be going back.

Scorpio,

I think the website should recoginize the last soft
water fisherman of the year. You may be the winner.

Dan could probably confirm this. He must have alot of past data.

Prizes would be in order. Maybe a small token. Say
a 2004 Durango with a Hemi.

Maybe a record book could be started. You must have
one of the latest outings ever.

Although I have seen people
out below the Deseronto bridge in January.

Targa2 and Steve Dover were out on Dec 29 last year. Ive gone there in Jan but got blocked because of snow. Heck, some guys fish the Niagara all year round. I laugh when people say " pretty cold to be fishing isn't it" I love too say " but skiing in this weather is normal behaviour".

I usually fish well into january for landlock salmon on lake Memphrémagog. That's where I'll be next weekend. I can't wait.

Scorpio you better look before going to the Memphré from what I heard they blocked all the boat ramp for some security reason or environnmental (salt) in the boat ramp (excuses).
Let me know if everything is all right.

Yes, I heard the same thing, I don't think it's done yet. If the municipality does block the ramps I'll just use a 12 footer boat instead of my regular one.
