Well after a 2 month break friday finally came. Friday night went down to the pontoon boat and started loading it up with everytihgn we needed for the weekend. Here we go.....
left the dock at 4:30. headed out to a few spots to see what we could find. Boards out and lines in the water by 4:45. Here we go.
Started to Mark fish at our first spot and threw everything we had at them. by 8am we only had 2 walleye in the boat.humm. We decided to start covering some more water and keep our eyes open to the fish finder. Long story short we got in at 10:30 and went for Breakfast. My cousin had to go home so I ended up doing a few things around the house. Had a nap. 6 pm I was back out. Was able to get 3 in the boat. before heading home to catch the end of the hockey game. Jay and I got out Sunday am left the dock around 6:30. Opps slept in. Started trolling and covering water. we had a few small fish in the boat but at 10:30 (Brad where were you at 10:30???)LOL the wind picked up and the fun started. We tweeked the pattern a little and We caught 14 walleye within 45 minutes. Had 3 lost fish that felt really good and had a breakoff on new 20 lbs test line. 8O felt like a really good fish. Back in for lunch and back out again until 5pm. with a few more fish in the boat. All in all it was a good weekend. Total was 21 walleye. missed 9 (would liked to have seen 4 of them they felt pretty good) 1 break off. 2 pike. tones of perch and tones of white bass. Went thru 12 dozen worms and 2 dozen minnows. Had a blast. Caught and released 6 small walleye 9-11 inches so the future looks bright. 2 small males were still Milking. Had a really nice fish fry last night.MMMMMMMMM.

Hey Grizzly,
Funny you should say that. X marked the spot on the GPS. Same holes we got them out of this winter.LOL. The red spray X was missing from back in Feb when we were there. Don't know where it went.
I hear you got yourself a nice TOM well done buddy. Now get your butt up here for Walleye. :D :D :D

Well, Sheldon had a blast. I was just the net man although I had a couple of really good strikes on a CC shad (snapped the line right off of the planer board then nothing). Put on a bouncer that was the same colour as Sheldons and same depth but as soon as he would put his down, BANG. Oh well had a blast anyways and was the best opening weekend I have ever saw or had. (Thanks to Sheldon)
