Can you say Pepe Lepew???? That's what the day's fishing produced - a BIG Skunk!!!!!

Laker John and I fished from 0830 - 1715, trying a multitude of techniques and methods and lure combos and nothing worked. We marked a LOT of fish and many schools of baitfish, but the fish-gods weren't smiling on us.

We fished in Long Reach, Thompsons Cove, Shermans Point, the west shore - NADA.

So we chalked it up to a day of trying and not catching - we'll keep trying.....

I was out there tuesday and did pretty well the same......... looks like there is alot of fish there and alot of bait as well but just wernt active..... all I can say is when they do put the feed bag on its gonna be great if you happen to be there lol if it wasnt for the hopes of big fish id say hit the small lakes for sure I hit West lake yesterday evening from 6;60 til 10 and cought a mixed bag 2 walleye 2 pike a LBass, rock bass, and a crappie, and a perch. all trolling for walleye lol the crappie was a tad over 12.5 inches and it hit a husky jerk at night casting for walleye then my reel messed up and it was game over lol
