Got soaked all day saturday fishing Bass. Took a few buddies out trolling on Sunday morning.
A little late getting up On sunday but Left the Channel around 830 am.
Headed out 100-120 fow. Trolled out as close to the bonnet as Ive ever been. Landed 3 nice Rainbows Before finding the Mcfoul shoal. Lost one that took the spoon just as we were letting out the lead. All on Knockout lures 2 fish off the cheaters and one on the main line 75 feet down.
Saw someone being towed in from the Bonnet. Hopefully they caught some fish before breaking down!
Didn't stay out to late as we didn't want to push our luck in my little piss cutter.

Good work Charlie.

I took my boys out on Saturday afternoon from 3:30 - 6:30. In the 3 hours we went 3- 7. Lost the first 3 fish right off the hop. The first one hit copper tore drag and was gone before I got to the rod. The next 2 were rainbows that did all kinds of dances which was cool. Lost one out about 100' the other right at the boat. Then we boat 1 rainbow, 1 brown, and a king, before losing the best king of the day after a good fight.

Fish came on green coloured spoons. 2 on cheater (rigger down 75') , 2 on stacker (20' above the ball down 85') , one on 8 colour core with a shark torpedo wieght with 30' lead, 1 on copper out 300', and the big king was on a green flasher fly down 85' on the rigger.

Thanks guys,
hopefully the weather co-operates this weekend. I finally got some advice on how to deploy my dipsy's without getting caught in my rigger lines and am looking to try it out!
Ive made my fair share of trecks across west lake only to turn around at the mouth of the channel when its too rough. Grizz has seen me!
what channel do most guys monitor on the vhf?

most guys are on ch 71.

Good luck this weekend. Wish I was out there, but crazy busy at the park with it being a holiday weekend. Will be out almost everyday next week.
