I'm on my way to Napanee next weekend, and I have never fished BoQ before. Can anyone help? I'm limited to shore accessable areas only, so was thinking of trying the Napanee, Salmon, or Moira rivers. Any walleye, pike, or crappie in these rivers right now? PLEASE HELP!!!

Even in the best of times fishing from shore around the bay is hard because there are not a lot of place to go. You might try the bridge in Napanee or at the falls in town. Most of the bay is skimmed over wth ice and not safe enough to fish on. If the wind is not too bad a place that is very good is at the Lennox and Addington Hydro Plant. If you look south from Napanee you will see two large stacks and there is a warm water outflow from there but be careful it can be slippery. You can catch walleye, brown trout and the odd laker, or pretty much anything thats in the area.I have heard of a number of lures but Rapalas, and anything that dives deep has worked for me.
