Hey all,

Anyone here fish Roblin lake at all? The Bay is just WAY to choppy for my 14' aluminum and 7.5hp motor. I was thinking of launching into Roblin Lake, but was wondering what the fishing was like, and what species one would find in there?

Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

Hello, I grew up on that lake and have caught thousands of smallies and largemouths there, but that was then and now ... not much.
I was just there last week and only had 3 fish all day and they were small. the lake is just about finished. this was a real jem of a lake for many years up to recently. my family has been fishing that lake since the 50's and it is a damn shame to see it like it is now. at one time there were only smallies ( and a small number of pike) in the lake but try to find a smallie now, even the panfish population has fallen. your best bet is to go a couple miles down the back road and fish consecon lake, this lake has a great number of bass, walleye and pike. pm me and i will share some consecon spots for you.
