First, please do not take it personally that it was not answered however so many posts on this site either mention Picton Bay by name or make reference to it somewhere in there message. I personally have posted 2 times in the past 6 weeks and made specific mention of Picton Bay, lures used, time of day caught and weight. I have read many posts and discovered different tactics, lures, hot spots, open launches, problems encountered (lighting at the Picton Harbour launch) and of course BOQ fishing memories from many different people.

Second, at the time of the post, Picton Bay was frozen over and not fishable.

This site is very useful and offers us fisherman from all areas the opportunity to keep up with BOQ results and trends. This site is one of the best for fishing. It's too bad you don't feel the same.

Good luck and happy fishing.

Well Brampton Mike...... I like you do not live in Picton and rely on other fisherman to post on this site......So us guys that want the one last trip with the boat or are waiting for hard water, we read this site daily. And yes, all of the posts.

From all of the posts I have been reading, yes Picton Bay is frozen. Hence all the guys posting they had to go further south east of Glendora and make there way back to the ferry channel last Sunday December 28 to fish.

Suggestions:

1. Read all of the posts, instead of just your own
2. Watch the weather forcast
3. Don't post nasty-agrams under "guest"
4. Call and request a guide. Maybe they can dirve your boat, drill the hole, and bait your hook too.

 Whoa...who pissed in your corn flakes this morning, Edgy??? Geeessss I sympathize with your wife for having to put up with you....as for the guest post...yeah it was me...I thought I was logged in....there do you feel better now????? Further more, I did read all the posts but as i'm not from that area, just how the hell am I supposed to know what the local names stand for & where they are????? Furthermore...I did check the weather forecasts & it was calling for mild weather & a group of us had a weekend planned with Kevin at Merland Park & thank god he is not as rude & ignorant as you are!!!!!! When I spoke to him on Tues....he told me Picton Bay was not frozen so we cancelled our weekend (Jan8-11) there but will rebook later on when there is safe ice so bottom line is Edgy..Happy 2004 & you can kiss my a$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!
