Went for a drive this AM after the new years eve soiree at Hay Bay Larry's and stopped at the trailer at Bayview Resort. Drove to the front door. :?:

Took some shots for the other campers and looked at the launch ramp - Clear as a bell with lots of open water :D

Hay Bay open from east of McCabe Bay to Ram Is. Ice covered from Ram Is to Shermans, probably too thick to motor thru.

Couldn't really see Shermans Pt and didn't drive down that Road, The Launch ramp has ice but it looks TOO thin.

Driving around the River Road back to Napanee, Long Reach appears to be open from the Huff Road all around Forresters Is and it looks open all the way to the Narrows. Part of Mohawk Bay is ice covered, the south side as the Napanee River is wide open and has opened that part of Mohawk Bay.

Didn't get a chance to see the Ferry and the Glenora area.

It's gonna take some COLD weather to freeze that part of the Bay to let you ice fish there. Kids skating close to shore in McCabe Bay.

If I were Ken, I'd try the deep hole beside the Grass Is, probably BIG ones lurking there
