Hi Guys

I'm leaving Ottawa about 4:00am heading for the glenora ferry , I was wondering if there is still plenty of open water at the Ferry and down the reach??? I was out on Dec 28 and there was plenty of open water then , so i hope it is better or at least the same  Tried down riggers last time but had no luck  Now maybe it was the way I had them set, I was runing about 20 to 30 feet behind the ball, do you think I should be back around the 50 to 100 foot mark?????I know the guys are getting Walleye off the planner boards, I think they are running about 100 to 120 feet behind the boards , which makes me think that I'M running to close to the ball!!! . You guys that fish the Bay all the time can you help!!!!!!! I hope to see you out there tomorrow......... KEN good Luck at the Ballet
I HOPE TO JOIN THE DOUBLE DIGIT CLUB THIS YEAR!!!!

I normally run 40-50 feet behind the ball with minnowbaits or shallow divers, with deep divers I stay 20 feet back. This way you still have a good idea of the depth your lure is at. Speed is critical, slow is the key now, make lots of turns to vary lure speed and trigger strikes. Good luck Skeet544

It's hard to belive we got out on the 4th of January. Conditions today
were better than most of my days out in November. Got out at 830am
with plenty of marks in 50-60 foot depths down 40-50. Worked baits with
reliable leadcore to no avail. Lock jaw in our case today. I'd love to get some feedback on how the other boys beside us did. I fish out of a white Sea Nymph. Spent some time near a Tracker north of the ferry. Wer'e
miffed, how about you guys?

Hey Syickman

I seen you guys on Sunday, i was in the black and tan legend man it was tough fishing sunday, we had two hits all day  The first one hit an a flat line but we lost it when the line got tangled n the drift bag
that hit came on the flat line near the waterfalls, the second hit was hours later also on the flat line, well it was more of bump and run type hit!!
We were watching the other boats and we never seen any fish boated
But on the possitive side I fished with RJ for the frist time and that was great, good guy, i will be making more trips with him in the near future
