SATURDAY-Me and my brother put in at Deseronto to-day,zipped down to the bridge. We stayed on east side jigging Mr.Champs with minnows.Got 8 fish kept 1,the rest were 24" to 30".Started around 11:30am to 5:00pm.Had a nice drift for about 3hrs. then the bay went like glass, still moved but slow.IT WAS STILL GREAT TO GET OUT!! 8)

Found this post at www.fish-hawk.net about fishing on Sat at Desronto.

"Well it seems I was lucky enough to get out with Kenny Boy and Picker today... and this is what happened...
The tenish cars on the way to Kingston were worth it, as I finally arrived at 9:30ish. The boys were ready with coffee and hangovers. After their luck the day before.
So here is how the day went... started well, 15min. in to our trolling pattern we bagged a 6.7lbs. (near Desoronto Bridge). No luck for the next few hours ... changed it up for a little jigging. 15min in Yoda bags a 5.2lbs(white bucktail). Having noticed fish suspended earlier Ken suggested we troll again amongst an armada of jiggers (5 boats). Troll starts bang! 2.1 walleye. bang! again 9.2! Sweet call on the troll. The jiggers looking on with big eyes (pun intendend). Getting onto 4ish back to our original spot... all hell breaks loose! Bang! Bang! Bang!
8.2lbs, 8.8lbs, 7.2lbs, 11.3lbs, 3lbs, and a few missed.
Sweet Day!
A day to remember fishing open water on the BOQ in the sun and flat water. "

Looks like you were right about the SAT bite.
