Fall Walleye around Belleville

Hi All,

With most of the walleye focus in the fall centering upon the Picton area, I was wondering how the fall walleye bite is nearer to Belleville during October and November. I would like to pick up my son a few times after school and launch from the Herchimer launch. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I went around Big island for the last 3 days and caught one pike 7 lb and a couple of perch...no walleye

once the water flips there can be a good jig bite under the bridge on the south side and in the deeper water in front of massassauga conservation area

Don't wait too long. I just got off the phone with Belleville parks and rec and the girl there told me that all boats have to be out from Myers pier by Oct 16 and that the docks at the boat launches won't be far behind that date likely by the 22nd.

ima go shore fish tonight,herchimer launch,make my way along then maybe south side of the bridge...ill post how it goes...on another note?,what about all that algie bloom stuff.thats gone or what?
