I was there last Wed. there was at least a foot of snow , it was like walking on the beach, I was lucky as a truck drove out and headed towards Deseronto, I think he stoped around Big island, it helped make the first part of my walk a little easier as I followed his tire tracks till they veared off North. With the mild weather today it may be a little slopy soon. I will probably be out there on Wed. and will update Wed. evening. I know last year up in Muskoka it was tough going to get out on the A.T.V.s with all the snow, we even had a plowed ice road each morning (workers were building a cottage on an island) but by late afternoon with the wind it looked like it had never been plowed and it was a long hard battle to get back to are starting point which was a few miles down the lake.
