Finally got out on the ice for my first time this year. Put 4 nice eaters on the ice in 1.5hrs by myself. Spent a bit of time trying to find new spots away from the crowds. Only marked a few fish and most of the spots I went to I didn't mark anything. Didn't drop any fish on the way up so went 4 for 4. I tried some buckshots and swedish pimples but caught all 4 on a silver and green Mr.Champ. At first having 3 minnows on did the trick. Then as it got darker the 3 minnows stopped working so I switched to just a single minnow head and got the last two fish.
The ice was very scary out there boys so use ur spud at all times!
Stay safe and good luck everyone!

We were at Potters, caught nothing. Where were you that the ice was so bad? It was about 4-5" at Potters, guys driving four wheelers and a couple of shacks.
