I am still getting a few pics on the trail cam, but most are all in the middle of the night. I'll be sitting in the trees in the middle of a swamp for the last few mornings hoping for one last chance. Are there still any other late season bowhunters left out there?

I'm hopeing to get out a couple of times this week for a last kick at the can. I haven't seen any deer at alll when ive been out this year. lots of pics on trail cameras. I've seen more yote tracks then deer tracks this year. I'm getting tired of eating tag soup....i would like a little meat in my soup for a change! Good luck to everyone.

sunday was my last day where I bow hunt, in 79C.Won't be able to get out till next year :(. Still seeing tons of tracks....but as I suspect, mostly from overnight activity.

Didnt get a deer this year. But hey... nothing beats being out in the bush anyways.

So I'm not the only crazy one out there then  . I finally got to catch a glimpse of a deer as it ran past this morning about 60 meters away through the swamp. First one I've seen this year. Lots of pictures on my cam over the last few days.

King, is that the buck you were stalking early November? If you want to send me the pictures, I can get them on the board for you.

coveman. dont give up buddy now is a great time to scout the tracks and see what the deer are doing where they bed the roads they travel and all this info will pay off in spades come next year...... the kill is part of the hunt but definatly not the most importiant part by far,,,,, learning to become one with nature and understanding your pray will pay off 10 fold as the years go buy, some kill with simple dumb luck while the true hunters take away the luck and rely on there knowlage gained to become sucessful hunters year after year, and besides, hunting with a camera is just as much fun with alot less mess lol....... better luck next year buddy!

This morning one blew the whistle on me halfway on the way in to my stand. It stomped and blew for about 45 minutes from about 50-60 yds away. It was all I could do after a while not to just yell at it to shut up!!! :x
I am only able to hunt mornings and 95% of the deer in my pics are in the late afternoon or at night. I think things would be different if I was able to hunt the afternoon instead of the morning. That's my excuse anyway...

Here's one who is eluding me...

and a few others mid-day...

and the only picture in the morning, on the one morning I didn't go...
