Has anyone heard whether the Napanee Rod and Gun Club will be hosting the annual Walleye/Pike Tournament this year on the Bay of Quinte in early May? If not there is always the annual Kiwanis tournament.

:?:

They hooked up with the Kiwanis tournament last year by getting a cetain dollar amount for each ticket they sold. I might guess that it may be the same for them this year again. There was talk about extending the area fro Trenton to Kingston this year. The cost does go up each year though, but you do get a hat. Hats off to that eh! LOL

I'm pretty sure that the area for the kiwanis tournament has always been division 8, the Napanee derby cut off at the ferry.

It looks as though the website for the Kiwanis Tournie hasn't been updated since last year.

I think you can read the rules from last year and figure on them staying the same for 2004.

Don't worry, the ice will be long gone by May 1.

April 14 was the date last year the bay was reported ice free.

71 days, 9 hours and 20 minutes till opener.

Cheers,

Mike
