Dropped by the show this AM and met and chatted with Big Jim and Jig N Pig. Also chatted with Bob Banfield, editor of Pro-Angler Insider.

Got a line on some Luhr Jensen baits for the fall. Could be the Hottie for 2004

Picked up Big Jim's new 'Just Fishing' and some copies of 'BassMaster"

Not to mention the 2004 fishing regs.

Nice show, hope it grows.

See you at Toronto Show on Wednesday.

Hi David,

Probably walked right passed each other!
This was my 1st fishing show, and as a newbie felt like a little kid lost in a giant toy store not knowing where to start. :)

In a discussion (more like a free instruction as a result of me asking so many questions) about baitcaster vs spinning reels, it was suggested that I may find it useful to talk to the folks at the Bassmasters table. Since I've always excelled at "hands-on-learning", I just may join the organization. Even at 48, I still have plenty of learning to do! :)

Checked out the show Saturday a 9am.
Promised my wife I would be back home
by 10am since we were heading out of town
for the weekend. Bought a couple of Moto
lures to entertain the kids this summer. They
may even catch fish on them.

It was my first time at this show. Not bad.

Was good to talk to you at the show Superdad, and thanks for the gifts, much appreciated. Mike you missed david by about 20 minutes, If you did choose to join B.A.S.S. this summer you would learn a great deal. Baitcasters have their time and place over spinning gear and you could learn this first hand. Remember first Tuesday of each month at 7;00 at Doffers. Just came back from 4 days fishing up in the Muskokas, fishing was tougher then last year. Lots of smaal fish but had a tough time with the big boys. We tried desperatly to get some large shiners in the 7-9 inch range but could not get them this year, tried everyone I could think of from Smithfalls to Bracebridge, but they have not been able to get them for the past two weeks.Oh well it was a good time anyway, time to hit the rivers and hammer some bows!! Later Gord
