Is there any Ice left in the North Channel, around Bath and The Ferry at Amherst Island?

Just wondering when a boat can get out on the 'soft' water.

Was downtown Kingston this morning and a large area from the Lasalle Causeway and beyond the breakwall extending to the Marine Museum....shouldn't be long now! :)

Also would be interested in open water reports in the 1000 Island region (Ivy Lea and Cornwall areas)

Took a drive out Highway 33 last Tuesday and the channel is iced up from Collins Bay all the way to the L&A Generating station.

We saw the ice breaking up at the Upper Gap out on the edge of the lake.

It will have to warm up a bit more and get some wind to get it started breaking up.

Mid April for sure.

Thanks David!

The plunge back into these sub-zero temps sure don't help.

Think I'll head over to Doffers this morning and do some daydreaming. :)
