Is there such a thing? i know my 8 is big enough but i prefer a ten inch hole!!!! Ive yet to see a ten inch hand auger but really want one!! They may be harder to drill?

Get a spud, easier to cary, make as big a hole as you need, Unless you feel the need to crank on an auger, lol,

Was on Scugog last weekend, and went through 13 inches of black ice in about 5 seconds with a 6 inch hand auger. (New blades) I realize it's only 6 inch, but was going through faster than guys with power augers. Maybe new blades on an 8 or 10 wouldn't be so bad. Good exercise too!!!! From what I read on here, it sounds like there's only 6-10 inches of ice on the best days!! LOL. Anyways, good luck!!
