How about this.

The max weight that will be in the hat for the hidden weight is 6 lbs. The goal here is to only have fish brought in that we can eat. This way there is not a lot of fish killed and no big fish being killed. Plus we want everyone to have a good time enjoying a fish fry..... not eating shoe leather!

As for the scale calibration..... We will use one scale to weigh all fish.

The main goal of this outing is to have a good time and to get together with friends and go fishing. The chance to win some good prizes..of course is a huge bonus!

good luck fishing, stay safe,

chasineyes/everywhere

After you get your ticket (you can get it that morning after 5:00 am). We will give you a Pro Tackle dozen minnows that morning included in ticket price. (everyone tells us that we don't know how to count)..you will get extras! It doesn't matter what time you start fishing as long as you are back by the weigh in deadline. We would prefer if you get your ticket earlier then Feb. 6th. This way we will get an idea on how many people will be attending the fish fry after wards.

You can fish anywhere you would like. (Stay safe) remember that you are after a smaller fish.
You can only enter 1 fish the weighs between 2-6lbs. (an eater to enjoy in the fish fry that is following the draws) This way we are not promoting killing big fish or a lot of fish.

Bring your one fish back to the store around 12:30 (deadline is 1:00pm) to get your one fish weighed. After all weights are in (by deadline) we draw the grand prize winner (closest to the hidden weight that will get drawn first). Then we draw for the draw prizes out of all entry tickets. (everyone will have a chance to win a good prize even if you don't catch a fish)

Your purchased ticket also allows you to enjoy the fish fry lunch.

The idea of this Fish'n Fry is to have fun. A chance to win great prizes and meet our anglers. Have a good fish fry and share stories. Anyone entered could win!

I hope this helped. If you other questions please ask.

Good Luck fishing/stay safe
