Quinte Fishing

Hey lads,

there are a bunch of young lads planning a little ice fishing trip at Big Island (Wager's farms ??). Could anyone give me info on the ice conditions there??

Also, if anyone can provide a few pointers to get the ladz going...

Should we use minnows, or something else?
Morning or Afternoon bite?

The last I heard - there was 10 to 12 inches off Wagners.

Could be slushy in spots.

Morning or evening bite - I am betting on a better morning bite this weekend.

Buckshots, Mr. Champs, or Jigging Raps, all tipped with minnows. Gold is my preferred color at present, but silver & blue should soon start to work as the ice is getting thicker.
