Slush and snow

Have'nt been down for a week or so as was wondering what the conditions are like at Onderdonks. Is there alot of snow and slush on the ice. Is it walkable? I do have a quad and a snowmobile as well.

I don't own a sled or a bike but was out this am with a seasoned vet and he had said that the snow was good for a sled and that a bike would get stuck. There is a thin crust on the snow that we broke thru with each step and stepped into approx 6 inches of slushy snow. We were on the other side of the bay from Onderdonks. I have spoke recently with another friend who stated all he is catching is perch no eyes. Some eyes at the beginning of ice up but for the last two weeks perch only.

Thanks lenbo appreciate the info. We were lucky. Got eyes every outing since ice and the perch were good size. Like i said been a couple weeks since. Hope to get down this weekend.
