are you guys serious? i thought boq was considered the provinve of quebec! im from albany ny and was told by boq guides "Gspot" or "G somethin" that you were alowd unlimited tip ups as long as you use no more than 2 rods. my brother and i went out with G last year and this is how they taught us to fish for the mighty walleye in boq. there was the 2 of us and 3 young fellas from somewhere called kanata. they set us up near potters and between the 7 of us we jigged in our own holes surrounded by 25 randomly placed tip ups. mind you the guides werent very good at finding the eyes cause we only landed 2 fish that day..ever since it has worked like a charm. been back 6 times.....but....if you say that its against your crazy canadian fishn rules..then i guess ill cut my tipups down to 2! i was wondering why everyone around me always gives my the stink eye. i just thought it was just canucks hating on us yanks cause we catch way more fish then you. anyways sorry to ya crazy eskimoes!

i heard those guides arent even local fisherman and are just exploiting a market of inexperienced fisherman anyways. maybe they were just yanking our chains.. wish i could remember the name of the guide service. cocky lil guys they were..didnt seem to hesitant to take our $200 each even after the skunk was on either..oh well lesson learned..
