ya ive used the x67c ice machine. it depends if you want a flasher or a chart, the x67 does have a flasher screen but it isn't as fast as a manchine made as a flasher. but if you like a chart like in your boat go with the lowrance

Marcum lx-5, the super fine line feature, and the zoom is sweet. I don't think any other model offers the zoom that the marcum does.

I've never heard anyone say that they didn't like the flasher that they own. I don't think you can go wrong with any brand. The more you spend, the better you get. That said, they all get the job done. Personally I use the bottom of the line Humminbird Ice-35 and have no complaints.

As was posted earlier any flasher is a good flasher. I bought an FL8 5 years ago and Love it. This spring I picked up a FL20. WOW is all I can say. The bottom Lock is amazing. Buy the one you can afford.period. IF you can afford the $550 one buy that one you won't be dissapointed. I have used the vex and love it. It is one tough durable machine. I know some guys that have the Hummingbird ice 55 and they love it. Same with Marcum and lowrance. I like the vex as it is pretty tough and can beat it up with a 2X4 and she still works great.
MHO.

I had only used my buddies Hummingbird Ice 55 and I went out and bought one. I would not fish with out one. I looked at other flashers but I did not want to buy another and like the Ice 55 better. I'm sure others are good, but you want real time for sure.

Hands Down the Lowrance X67c Ice machine. LOVE IT :D .. I've used all the flashers you stated but at the end of the day its the Lowrance X67c .. I use the sonar fish finder on it, simply amazing.. but the flasher on it is good too.
