hey all you guys who are complaining about somebody else wanting to fish with some new people,WHY LIMIT A CHARITY EVENT FOR THE KIDS!!!!!!!if you want to have a fish competion with all your buddys have a great time, but 20 guys ats 10 bucks a head plus donations--thats a nice gesture,200 guys at 20 bucks a head would really benefit a charity!!! Im not saying i dont get why you guys did it this way,it takes alot of time to plan an event i,ve done it myself, permits, waivers ,volenteers, transportation, but like grizz said he had requests from how many guys--2000 -that would be a benefit to any charity!!! so get off my back ,get on with your EVENT and dont worry about what im doing ,alot of guys did want to fish your event and were told NO,its a group thing ,its already full, maybe next year we,ll do it bigger, well thats great for you guys,i myself did request to fish was unpolitely told NO,not in those words ,thats ok with me,i,ll do my own thing, and i dont really care what all you guys think,we{other than the 20 involved} are free to do what we want and i chose to set-up a fish for those not involved in your event ,im sorry that you guys think im stealing your show,im not!!! just getting a group of guys together for a fish, come or dont come,i told landshark i would donate to your charity, but i,ll do what I want ,when I want, and how everyone else wants to do it,so have a great event ,hope you get lots of donations for the charity, everyone has a good time, catch some fish, and everything turns out great for your event!!!!who knows maybe next year your event will get bigger and have an open field, you will get alot of excited fishermen that want to participate-now that would be a great event-and the charity would get a real boost!!!Ed

Grizz as usual WELL SAID buddy

And I agree with Grateful Fisher, I don't get why you would have your get together on the same day as the charity event? Why not the weekend after or the weekend after that? or whenever that family day is when everyone is off with there families? I would definately just like I bet the rest of the 19 guys on the list and anyone and eveyone attending that day would be more then happy to come out to fish at your get together and fish for fun if it wasn't the same day :?

My crew is from Kingston, we typically only travel to Big Bay when the ice gets bad, we're still in if it's ok to fish somewhere closer for us? The trip to Big Bay adds a half hour each way....I'd rather save that time for sleep or fishing.

Chasin.......you havent even begun to ruffle my feathers lol No issues on my end buddy. none at all and no hard feelings either. I have no issues with you or what you want to do all I was saying is its odd you want to have a meet and great on the same day that you know there will already be alot of the boardmembers fishing in one area so come out and join them meet them .
I just get a feeling you feel outcasted for what ever reason so its you with the ruffeled feathers...... I do take offence on what you said about unpolitely being told you could not fish with us, that is very untrue. at least I know it wasnt me who told you NO.... so if your going to make such a statement you should back it up with the name of the person who UNPOLITELY SAID NO!!!!!
Reguardless of any of this I agree you have the right to do exactly as you please I just feel you would have had a much better responce had you picked a different day........ Heck the next day pro tackle is having a derby that would have been a great day. you could fish, and have a fish fry at the end of the day all you need is 25 bucks and one fish under 6 pounds .
Golf Pro........ there is men comming from alot further lol, but im sure you too have your own reasons for not wanting to join us out on Big Bay that day!!! and I will admit a 1/2 hours sleep is a pretty good one lol, not to mention todays gas prices!!
Quinte prince!! ........ learn how to fish buddy!! keep at it........ running with the pac isnt easy at least yer willing to get off the porch!! lol

Hey Grizz keep in mind the Quinte "Princess" has a horse shoe up his butt... I think the only way to shake it loose would be to make him walk out to the event instead of riding with me on my bike...lol. What do you think???? If he wins this thing I swear we will never live it down. Be sure to give your navy seal a pair of scissors also will ya...

I think I listed my reasons for not joining you guys. Unless you're hinting at something else I'm really not sure what you are talking about? If you'd like to PM me or something feel free. I'm also laid off in the winter so yeah closer to home usually takes trump.

I also didn't really follow your thread, so I didn't know there was a date conflict with your gathering until people started taking issue with it?

The guys who are taking part in your get together, that I know and fish with occasionally I'm sure I will hook up with before the end of the season so I'm not too worried about it.

Tight lines guys, hope its a good day for you.

Chris
