There was more walleye in the chowder than on the ice but it didn't matter a bit

Forsure, I think I put about 5 - 3 lb. eyes in the chowder.

Steve, (the official weigh-master) took a pic of the fish.

I will just say thanks to Grizz and Landshark for putting together a fantastic day of fun and games, Thanks also go out to Trannyman, Dan Elliot, Sheldon for dinner fare, the chowder, pulled pork and sausages were great. The laughs and the B.S. goes without saying. Although only one fish was caught, congrats to Hodgey, the man with the bragging rights. All in all great weather, a fun time, met some new friends and look forward to doing it all over again.

P.S. i'll post some pic's later when I have time and vent about my buddies who let one get away.

A big thanks to Landshark and Grizz for a great get together, nice to put a face to the names. I have to say Big Gene had the day rapped up if he would have been fishing not gabbing with me and Sheldon (sorry Gene couldn't resist..lol) Congrats Hodgey, hope you didn't pull a groin doing that 100 yard dash. Told my wife about the chowder and now she wants the recipe (told her fish and stuff make it happen) but man was it ever good, thanks for the great grub and the good day on the ice with new friends.

I'll post the receipe for the chowder later.

Big thanks to Dave (Cadeuses) for bringing the tent. That was an awesome idea.
I hope you bring it again next year.

Anyone know an ATV towing company. I think the dude could have made a couple bucks this morning.

It was a blast & I had a lot of laughs. Hope we do it again next year.

A little late but still within 24 hours. I too want to thank Grizzly and Landshark for putting the day together - good food and lots of hard work. I also have to admit that I shared a good story about coming in second yesterday at 'The Battle'. (Thunderous applause :D ). But then I had to explain that one fish was caught and what second really meant (Silence :? ) I think the church is ready to tar and feather me - anybody know where I can get work?
Oh yeah - does anybody know why Sheldon wasn't in church this morning?

I'd like to start by Congratulating Hodgey on the Battle win. Thanks go out to Landshark and Grizzly for the invitation, a chance to fish alongside all esteemed participants and spear heading a Great Day on the ice.. Also a thanks to those that brought out their Bikes and Sleds, Tent, Food .... oh ya and the Manual Auger.....hehehe. I didn't make my way around to meet everyone there and for that I apologize but hope that the opportunity presents itself some time in the future. For the folks that I did have the pleasure of meeting and sharing some speak with it was more than I expected . I felt Very Loved and want to thank you for that. Great people, Food and Fun. A winning combination all the way around. Cheers.
