fished from Desaronto to point annes from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning.

Nothing .. 4 guys getting the big skunk.. First time ever for us even coming close to a skunk... Spoke to many other fisherman over the weekend.. Very few got a bite..

I assume all the fish moved to the reach/picton:)

I truly believe fish are there they just have the lockjaw thing happining,,,,,,,,, thay must be scattered for the most part but scattered in schools just a huge area and hard to find them seems to be hit or miss guys doing ok one day and the next day same spot same lures same tecnique and nadda!!! its really pretty amazing last year was tough twordge the end and this year is shaping up to be the same way.......... water is so clear its becomming hard to fool the fish and who is to say the fish just arnt getting wise to the jig lol i know there was alot of walters running around with sore mouths early in the season and im sure they didnt high tail and run back out into the lake O lol. what the heck its what its called fishing and not getting right lol ill never give up!!

I think they are feeding on the smelt or shad. I found one (not 100 % sure what it is) in my hole yesterday morning. Lifted up the cover and there he was, swimming around and around, a little skinny bright silver fella! You could almost see right through him. He must have come up to hide from the big eyes! I rescued him, didn't have the heart to stick'em with a hook and send him back down after his near fatal overnight experience, so I brought him home to the fish tank to fatten him up till next weekend!! lmao!!

My 27 year old son Eddie and I were fishing at Massassauga Pt all day Saturday....naathin'

Like I told my son...we tried our best & had a great outing
I found out through this forum since Saturday that others had "the same "luck" as us
when I told Eddie...he said " is that supposed to make me feel better "... I said no, but we should feel better than if everyone caught walters but us...he said " good point "

Wonderful weather though and spending the day with my son - priceless :)

& not having to clean fish after a long drive home - nice

Al

We had a great time also, a couple eyes would have made it so much better ! We have been spoiled in the past and set our expectations too high !

hey all,i heard a great quote years ago --from a pretty good fisherman, Al Lindner, the fish are bitting out there, somewhere, for somebody, case in point the group i was with we had four bites all day on Friday-1 fish landed ,500 yards away walleye wonder and his wife were having their best day ever,we moved and searched found no more, lol,we just moved the wrong way!!!!!!!the protackle derby had 48 fish brought in --so they are biting somewhere....

I was out with a friend for about 3 hours last night at point anne and got 2 nice eaters and my buddy lost a really nice one at the hole. I find they are out there but the window to catch them seems to be a little smaller right now.
