Is there anywhere to go for early season trout or salmon?

If you are in the BOQ area, Lake Ontario in front of the Lennox and Addington Generating Station. There is a good boat ramp in Bath in the park just west of Bath and in Bath at the stop lights.I also saw a few people fishing the outflow on the bridge and when I went by the one person had a fish on.

Do you know if the water is open for boats from the Bath Park Launch to the Generating Station outflow?
