Yup, one of my buddies caught a 13-14 pounder with one, I think it was last year or the year before that. It was also his go-to lure.

also try rapala clackin rap, if you havent done so, its a lip less crank bait, its sink, not as fast as a jig thou.
works amazing for eyes... oh yea shhh..
