Fished the point again today, a few big perch in 20 fow, I was off to the right away from the small town of huts that were out today. Only heard of 1 eye 4lbs on the ice and few more jumbo perch. Cold and snowy at times but a day on the ice. Hopefully the weekend gets better.

Trail was a few skidoo tracks, walking was easy, never went through to the slush, not sure how it was going out straight where the majority of the people were. Good luck

Tried again today , same area, 5 jumbos and 2 hungry Pike. They strtipped me of 2 dozen minnows in about an hour, had to resort to a few tricks for keeping remaining minnows on the hook. Walk was easy with a little snow on top.
